Asheville NC Blue Ridge Parkway Spring Flowers Scenic Landscape

Mountain laurel flowers and dappled sunlight on the ridges near Craggy Gardens along the Blue Ridge Parkway above Asheville, NC. The month of June is my favorite time to be in the mountains, surrounded by beautiful spring flowers in bloom, dramatic skies, and the altitude of the mountain ridges always provides a nice break from the heat in the valleys below.
