I hope you enjoy this monochrome rendition of a long 62 second exposure to smooth out the waves crashing in and the sky rushing by just before sunset on the beach under the Nags Head Fishing Pier in the Outer Banks NC. One of the things I find really special about the OBX is all of the old wooden piers that are still in use there, each one completely unique with amazing details and textures that really pop in black and white, it's a welcome change from so many other beach areas where they've gone with modern concrete piers that often lack a sense of character for me.
