Roaring Fork Waterfall Great Smoky Mountains National Park

The Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail outside of Gatlinburg TN in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is an amazing place to visit at any time of the year, and we were lucky to be there during the summer Rosebay Rhododendron Bloom. The Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail follows this wonderful mountain river that is rich with natural beauty including waterfalls, historic homesteads, moss covered riverbed rocks, black bears, wildlife and more. It is very easy to get to from downtown Gatlinburg, and is therefore a popular spot with many of the visitors to the park each year.
