Asheville North Carolina Scenic Landscape Photography Print | Blue Ridge Parkway

Summer catawba rhododendron flowers at peak bloom in the warm morning sunlight fill the foreground under a sky full of thick fluffy clouds in this stunning scenic landscape view from the Appalachian Mountains near Asheville, North Carolina. I shot this image in the Black Mountains during the month of June along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Mt. Mitchell State Park just east of Asheville, an area which is well known throughout the region for it's incredible scenic landscape views in every direction amongst the tallest mountain peaks in the Eastern United States.

I'm grateful to have been present during these idyllic conditions on this morning, and to have captured this mountain photography print that provides a window into this amazingly beautiful world for others to enjoy for many years to come.
