Blue Ridge Parkway Autumn Sunrise Scenic Landscape

You just don't see them like this every day, and preserving memories like this one is one of the main reasons I shoot these images. I shot this brilliant sunrise on a cold autumn morning over the Southern Appalachian mountains, from a popular overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway south of Asheville, NC. It was biting cold out and the wind was blowing which made for rather difficult conditions to shoot in, but the scene was incredibly beautiful and well worth the effort it took to be there to witness it.
