Asheville NC Photography | Craggy Gardens Blue Ridge Parkway Landscape

A double rainbow shines through the passing thunderstorms over the spring flower bloom at Craggy Gardens along the Blue Ridge Parkway north of Asheville in western North Carolina. The Southern Appalachians are an amazing place to be during the month of June, with the wild rhododendron and mountain laurel blooming under the dramatic summer skies produced by rapidly changing conditions and daily thunderstorms. It's a landscape photographer's dream come true and a seasonal event I try to never miss.
