This one day workshop with Dave Allen will cover all of the basics of digital photography while you are shooting landscape images at spectacular locations along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, NC. I'll talk about subjects such as proper exposure, image composition, the use of various filters, using the available light to your advantage, and more. This workshop is a full day and will include sunrise and sunset photography, so prepare for a full day of shooting and adventure. The group will meet in Brevard, NC one hour before sunrise and head from there to a location on the Blue Ridge Parkway for sunrise shooting. After spending the morning shooting, the group will stop somewhere for lunch and finish up with more photography ending at sunset.
You'll Need: Digital SLR or advanced Point and Shoot that offers manual control of exposure settings, stable tripod, transportation
