Blue Ridge Parkway Scenic Autumn Sunrise Landscape

The warm light of the morning sun shines across fog filled valleys and the colorful fall foliage in the Blue Ridge Mountains south of Asheville, NC. I had a great time shooting with some friends on this lovely but very cold and windy morning in mid October near Graveyard Fields along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The southern Appalachian Mountains are always spectacular during the height of fall foliage in October, and especially so when you're lucky enough to catch these deep and scenic mountain views when the autumn colors are splashed in some sweet golden light.
