Sunset over the Roanoke and Albemarle Sound from Nags Head, NC. The Outer Banks of North Carolina should be on anyone's travel list, it's an area rich with history, culture, and natural scenic beauty. On our visit there in the spring of 2015 we were lucky enough to have this lovely little pier and scenic view of the Sound at sunset right from the back yard of the house we stayed in.
