Autumn colors surround Hooker Falls during the month of October at Dupont State Forest in the mountains of Western NC. Dupont State Forest has quite a few large waterfalls that you can hike to, and has been a popular destination for outdoor lovers throughout the Southern Appalachians for decades. The area is especially beautiful during the fall foliage when everything in the park is just bursting with vibrant colors.
