Asheville NC Blue Ridge Mountains Foggy Morning Landscape

The early morning fog creeps along the valley floor revealing glimpses of tree topped ridges and peaks of the Southern Appalachian Mountains in this fine art photography print captured on a chilly autumn morning south of Asheville, NC. I was drawn in here by the noticable movement in the wind blown fog layers and the way the golden morning sunlight was streaking through the treetops, creating a dynamic scene that changed by the minute as the mist weaved it's way through the distant mountain peaks in front of me.
