Blue Ridge Parkway NC | Spring Flowers Scenic Landscape

The evening sun punching through some dramatic clouds above the fresh spring blooms of pink shell azalea bushes along the Blue Ridge Parkway south of Asheville, NC. Every spring when warm temperatures return to the mountains, along with a host of colorful new life, there's this feeling that this place is something special. The splashes of bright color dotting the sides of the mountains as far as the eye can see is incredibly beautiful, and you can't help but feel small and insignificant standing in front of it all, as if it exists for some much larger purpose and you're just lucky to be a bystander enjoying the show. I was grateful to be there for this lovely scene, and wherever you are I hope you take a minute to enjoy the view!
