Grandfather Mountain Sunset Blue Ridge Parkway Photography

A golden sunset photo from the top of Grandfather Mountain along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina. The scenic views from Grandfather Mountain are always breathtaking, and on this evening we had a clear view of Table Rock and Hawksbill in the Linville Gorge area, as well as the high peaks of the Black Mountains near Asheville on the horizon. On a clear day, you can look to the south and see the city of Charlotte from this location, which is nearly 100 miles away. WNC has so many awesome places to visit, and Grandfather Mountain State Park should definitely be high on your list for a picture perfect adventure.
