Sunset over the shifting sand dunes at Jockeys Ridge State Park in Nags Head, NC. This popular 427 acre state park is located in the beautiful coastal region of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and features the tallest active sand dune system in the eastern US. It's always a treat to be on the dunes during the golden hour near sunrise or sunset, when the low angle of warm sunlight highlights the ridges in the sand showing off their unique windswept patterns.
