Blue Ridge Parkway Autumn Landscape Photography Prints

Brilliant golden sunlight bursts through a slot in the clouds and into the valley below, highlighting the fall foliage and backlighting the vibrant red autumn colors in the foreground leaves along the Blue Ridge Parkway in the mountains south of Asheville, NC. This section of the Blue Ridge Parkway is one of my favorite areas in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, with deep scenic views stretching out over endless layers of ridges and valleys that play wonderfully with the light during the golden hours just after sunrise and just before sunset. It's a landscape photographers paradise when you're lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunset during the peak of fall colors. Hope you enjoy the view!
