Folly Beach Charleston SC Black And White Seascape Photography

A dramatic black and white seascape picture taken during blue hour over a small breakwater at Folly Beach south of Charleston SC. I used a long exposure for this photo to showcase the movement of both the stormy sky and the waves crashing ashore on the beach as the water interacted with the weathered posts of this old erosion control structure. I've always enjoyed shooting these long exposures at the beach, every single capture is full of details that are as unique as a fingerprint. On this particular frame, I loved how all of the angles in the sky and water pull in toward the center of the image creating leading lines that really draw your eye deeper into the scene towards the horizon. I can't wait to get back to Folly Beach to do it all again!
