Warm pastel colors fill the sky during the evening blue hour just after sunset over fresh spring blooms along the Blue Ridge Parkway south of Asheville, NC. Early spring is a special time to be in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, as the various trees and bushes begin thier yearly display of vibrant foliage and flowers as they spring to life and paint the hills with spashes of color.
