Table Rock State Park SC Autumn Sunrise Photography

Early morning light just after sunrise at Table Rock State Park during the peak of fall foliage in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Upstate South Carolina. The autumn season in Western NC and Upstate SC always offers up magnificent scenic landscape photography opportunities, and it didn't disappoint on this morning. I was thrilled to see the bright orange colors in the fall foliage surrounding Table Rock light up in the golden sunlight of early morning, and that amazing relection of the rock itself showing through the morning mist rising off of the pond made for a truly memorable experience.

I named this image "Balance" not only because of the obvious balance in the scene with the reflection, but also because of the classic blue / gold complimentary color combination that sit across from each other on the color chart.
