Asheville NC Blue Ridge Parkway | Spring Flowers Landscape

Spring rhododendron flowers in full bloom under brilliant light rays shining down on the ridges near Craggy Gardens along the Blue Ridge Parkway north of Asheville, North Carolina. The Southern Appalachian Mountains really come alive with vibrant natural beauty this time of the year, what an amazing place to experience during the spring flower bloom in early June. It always makes for a great day if you time the flower bloom right and get lucky enough to catch a spectacular sky with some intense sun rays punching through the clouds to highlight the peaks and valleys below, and I'm always grateful to be there and have the chance to capture those moments when they occur.
